"The big miss" Andrea Velíšková

My favourite teenage book

My favourite teenage book is The big miss, my years coaching Tiger Woods.
The author of the book is Hank Haney, the American professional golf instructor who
coached a very famous golf player Tiger Woods who is also who I admire very much.
The book is about cooperation which took 6 years and which was full of wins,
drill, falls and invitations. The trainer could get to know how complicated person Tiger
Woods is. The book recounts what is his biggest fear, why was withdrawn or what does he
hold. The story shows a difficulty of training a sports superstar. Hank wanted to be Tiger’s
friend, but it wasn’t easy. The big miss tells us or tries to find out how Tiger Woods thinks.
How does a golf giant think? This is the question which every reader thinks when reading
this book. Hank Haney was near Tiger Woods when he had a big problem with his sexual
scandal but he was near him when he won countless tournaments too.
The first book about Tiger Woods estimates also his intimate life. Tiger
Woods doesn’t agree with this book. I admire him because he is one of the most important
sportsmen of the world. He achieved lots od things what others didn’t achieve. Many
sportsmen admire him. He is one of the best golf players of the history. I like that he never
shows joy from win and he takes it with humbleness. He wants more and more and I keep
my fingers crossed for him.
